Art is a Language

“Art is a language. A visual language not easily translated into words. Viewing this language, we sense familiar human messages, relate to these feelings, and even are rendered somewhat vulnerable.  This element in art translates the human experience. This interaction keeps it fresh each time we see it.  It is not a monologue, but a conversation. I hope via these paintings we can relate even though we’ve never met.”
